AI in Education Summit 2026
Intentional Innovation
Keeping Learning Human in an AI World
Join educators, researchers, students, and tool builders at Khan Lab School to explore how AI can deepen learning, strengthen relationships, and empower both educators and students.
About the Summit
Using AI with purpose, rigor, and care.
As artificial intelligence becomes more embedded in classrooms, the question is no longer if we use AI—but how and why.
At Khan Lab School’s AI in Education Summit 2026, we center the idea of intentional innovation: using AI not for efficiency alone, but to deepen learning, strengthen relationships, and empower both educators and students.
This year’s summit brings together teachers, researchers, students, and tool builders to explore what it means to keep learning human in an age of automation. From classroom practice to system design, we ask: How can AI support curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking? Where should human judgment remain central? And how do we ensure that innovation serves all learners meaningfully and equitably?
Rather than showcasing tools in isolation, this summit focuses on real practice, thoughtful design, and lived experience—highlighting how stakeholders in education are integrating AI with purpose, rigor, and care.
